COVID-19 Vaccination: MNEA supports prioritizing Missouri educators
Educators
have gone above and beyond for their students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Missouri NEA supports prioritizing education employees in the voluntary administration of COVID-19
vaccine. Educators want to be back with their students in their
local public schools and college campuses. MNEA believes the vaccination of public-school staff is an important step in getting all schools back to in-person learning. It is critical to ensure the health and safety of Missouri educators, so they can continue the important work of educating Missouri’s youth.
If you are a school nurse, you are eligible to receive the vaccine now. Check with your school district, county health department or primary care physician to schedule your COVID-19 vaccination.
If you are an educator, you will be eligible as soon as Phase 1B-Tier 3 is initiated. Keep checking https://covidvaccine.mo.gov.
The President of NEA St. Louis Jane Sykes (nurse) receives her vaccine and prepares to help her co-workers get vaccinated.
